WHO WE ARE

Energeia is an Industrial Energy Savings Company. We find energy waste in factories and commercial buildings, fix it, and get paid from the savings we verify. Since 2018 we have completed 1,200+ site appraisals and 250+ energy audits, and saved customers ₹256 Crore in energy costs. We are a BEE-accredited ESCO with offices in 5 cities, our own manufacturing and training facility in Haryana, and technology partnerships with ABB, L&T; and GFS Corp (USA).

In August 2026 we launched August Energeia with Singapore-based August Energy: a $100M platform that finances, installs and operates energy infrastructure for Indian industry, so customers pay from savings instead of upfront capex. Cooling-as-a-Service is the first offer.

WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW

Every financed cooling plant is priced on your design and built on your BOM. If the BOM is off by 10%, the asset's return is off with it.

We are building detailed engineering in-house: design basis, BOM and cost data are core IP we will not outsource. You will own cooling design for chiller plant retrofits and new plants across hospitals, hotels, offices, pharma and manufacturing, working AI-first with our Applied AI team so one engineer delivers what used to take three.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

- Load and plant sizing: heat load calculations, load profiles from audit and IoT data, and chiller, pump, cooling tower and AHU selection for retrofit and greenfield plants
- Design packages: design basis, plant schematics, layouts, P&IDs; and hydraulic calculations, taken through to IFC drawings and specs
- BOM ownership: priced BOM at basic engineering and final BOM at IFC, reconciled against procurement and vendor quotes on every project
- Plant efficiency: plants designed to measured kW/TR targets using VFDs, variable primary pumping, heat recovery and controls sequences
- Vendor technical evaluation: compare OEM offers on part-load efficiency,



footprint and lifecycle cost, with Procurement
- AI workflow: use and improve our sizing, spec and BOM agents, and own the accuracy of what they produce
- Coordination: electrical, controls and civil interfaces with our MEP team and external partners; brief drafting partners and check their output
- Handover: support Projects through execution and commissioning, and feed as-built quantities back into our cost database

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

- First 90 days: first 3 basic-engineering cooling packages delivered and signed off; BOM template and cooling cost library set up with the Applied AI team
- 6 months: 5+ packages delivered; BOM within ±10% of procured cost on awarded projects; AI sizing and BOM workflow in daily use
- 12 months: 10+ packages delivered; IFC BOM within ±5% on every closed project; zero design-caused rework at commissioning; basic-engineering turnaround under 2 weeks

WHAT YOU BRING

- B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, with 4 to 8 years designing HVAC for commercial buildings or industrial plants
- Personal design of central chilled water plants: heat load, chiller, pump and cooling tower selection, piping and hydraulics
- BOMs or BOQs built from your own designs that went to procurement, and the ability to explain where variance came from
- Retrofit design: working from audit data, site measurements and an existing plant, not a blank sheet
- Hands-on with HAP or TRACE, AutoCAD, and OEM chiller and pump selection software
- Daily use of AI tools for calculations, specs or drafting,



with a clear method for checking the output
- Working knowledge of electrical SLDs, VFDs and BMS controls interfaces

STRONG PLUS

- Revit MEP
- ASHRAE 90.1, ECBC or ISHRAE standards in practice; ASHRAE or BEE certification
- Thermal storage, heat recovery, district cooling or process cooling
- Compressed air or other industrial utilities
- Design experience at an MEP consultant, HVAC OEM or ESCO
- Python or advanced Excel automation for design calculations
