POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to support our existing accounts lead across vendor coordination, payment follow-ups, salary-related work, and statutory compliance for all Bookends Hospitality outlets. The right candidate is comfortable on the phone with vendors, stays on top of every bill and deadline, and works closely with HR, outlet teams, and our CA to keep the group's accounts accurate, compliant, and up to date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Vendor Coordination — Coordinate with vendors, handle calls and payment queries, and maintain clear, professional communication at all times
- Bills & Payments — Track vendor bills, outstanding payments, and approvals, ensuring timely follow-ups and payment processing
- Salary & HR Coordination — Coordinate with HR for salary processing, pay structure updates, reimbursements, and employee payment queries
- Statutory Compliance — Handle applicable legal and statutory compliance — GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF, and ESIC — coordinating with the CA wherever required
- Records & Trackers — Maintain accounts records and payment trackers, and support day-to-day accounting activities




- Internal Coordination — Coordinate with outlet teams and internal departments to close pending accounts-related tasks

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

- Working knowledge of Tally and Excel for day-to-day accounting and trackers
- Practical understanding of GST and TDS, along with Professional Tax, PF, and ESIC
- Strong communication and phone-handling skills for vendor and employee queries
- Consistent follow-up discipline on bills, approvals, and pending payments
- Well organised, accurate, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines at once
- Ability to coordinate smoothly with HR, outlet teams, the accounts lead, and the CA

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

- Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
- Relevant experience in accounts, vendor payments, and statutory compliance
- Hospitality or restaurant industry experience preferred

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

- Timely processing of approved vendor payments
- Reduction in overdue vendor bills and pending payment queries
- On-time statutory filings and payments with zero penalties
- Accuracy of salary processing and reimbursements
- Up-to-date accounts records and payment trackers
- Turnaround time on vendor, employee, and outlet queries

ROLE SUCCESS

The Accounts Manager will be successful when vendors are paid accurately and on time, salaries and reimbursements run without errors, every statutory filing is completed before its due date, and the accounts lead can rely on clean, up-to-date records and trackers across all outlets.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
