PROJECTS & SAFETY COORDINATOR

Job Location: Kanchad, Maharashtra

Position Summary

The Projects & Safety Coordinator is responsible for implementing workplace safety practices and coordinating project planning, execution, communication, reporting and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

· Safety Policies & Compliance: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.

· Inspections & Risk Assessment: Conduct workplace inspections, identify hazards and assess risks associated with work activities.

· Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents and incidents, analyse root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

· Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first-aid protocols.

· Project Planning: Develop project plans covering timelines, resource allocation and budget management.

· Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders and management to ensure alignment and information flow.

· Progress Reporting: Track project progress, identify potential issues and prepare regular reports for project managers and stakeholders.

· Risk Mitigation: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions.

· Resource Coordination:



Coordinate allocation and management of project resources, including personnel, materials and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills

· Education & Experience: Graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in safety systems and regulations.

· Project Experience: Working experience in projects and policy-making and implementation.

· Safety Knowledge: Qualified in Safety, with an understanding of safety regulations, hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies.

· Communication & Coordination: Valuable communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

· Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.

· Planning & Organisation: Multitasking ability, presentation skills, project planning, scheduling, resource management and risk assessment.

· Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve project- and safety-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Preferred

· Additional Certification: Relevant certifications in project management.

· Project Tools: Hands-on experience with project management tools such as MS Project.
