Hariansh Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Design Engineer with hands-on experience in STAAD.Pro for structural analysis and design activities across industrial and infrastructure engineering projects.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of structural engineering principles, steel structure design, load analysis and engineering calculations, along with the ability to prepare and review technical drawings and design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design using STAAD.Pro.
- Develop structural models and evaluate structural performance under applicable loading conditions.
- Design and analyse steel structures, beams, columns, trusses and bracing systems.
- Perform dead load, live load, wind load and other applicable load calculations.
- Evaluate structural stability, member forces, stresses and deflections.
- Prepare structural design calculations, technical reports and engineering documentation.
- Review structural drawings and coordinate with drafting and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable design codes, standards and project specifications.
- Identify structural design issues and recommend technically appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with project managers and other engineering teams to meet project deliverables and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering will be an advantage.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in structural analysis and design.
- Strong working knowledge of STAAD.Pro.
- Experience in steel structure analysis and design.
- Knowledge of structural loading, wind load analysis and applicable design codes.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and structural drawing interpretation.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving and technical communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial and infrastructure structures.
- Knowledge of steel connections, bracing systems and foundation design.
- Familiarity with structural design standards and engineering quality requirements.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a project team.
