Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Management Trainee to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will act as the operational nerve centre for our retail chain network. Utilizing our advanced SaaS-based AI enabled ERP system, you will remotely monitor, manage, and audit daily store operations—including inventory levels, equipment health, staff scheduling, and basic accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless store efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and alerting outlet staff in real time.

Key Responsibilities

- SaaS ERP Monitoring: Actively track live data feeds from multiple retail outlets on the cloud ERP dashboard to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Inventory Control: Monitor real-time stock levels, track shrinkage/wastage, and alert outlet managers regarding reorder points or discrepancies.
- Equipment & Asset Management: Keep a vigilant check on store equipment status (POS terminals, refrigeration, lighting, IT hardware) and raise immediate tickets/alerts for maintenance before it impacts sales.
- Workforce & Schedule Planning: Oversee staff attendance logs, manage digital shift rosters, and optimize scheduling to ensure outlets are adequately staffed during peak hours.
- Accounts & Cash Operations: Monitor daily cash reconciliation, expense logging, and sales invoicing on the ERP system; flag any accounting variations to the management team.




- Operational Alerts & Coordination: Serve as the direct bridge between the corporate office and outlet staff, issuing proactive alerts to resolve floor issues quickly.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: MBA in Operations Management, Retail Management, or Logistics & Supply Chain Management Or PG Diploma in Operations or Retail.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong comfort level with technology; prior exposure to or academic understanding of cloud-based ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or retail-specific POS SaaS platforms) is highly preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent command over computers and mobile apps to interpret retail data dashboards and generate operational reports.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil (preferred) to coordinate effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, spot anomalies in data, and proactively take corrective action.
