About the Role

Social Ninja is looking for a QA Engineer to test enterprise web applications, APIs and industrial integrations. The role involves validating end-to-end workflows, data accuracy, system reliability and release readiness across software and IoT-connected modules.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and execute test cases from business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke and end-to-end testing of web applications.
- Test REST APIs, authentication, error handling and data consistency using tools such as Postman.
- Validate workflows across procurement, inventory, production, quality, maintenance and dispatch modules
- Test integrations with PLC/IoT data, weighbridges, laboratory instruments and third-party APIs.
- Verify calculations, dashboards, reports, role-based access, audit trails and fallback workflows.
- Log, track and retest defects; support QA/UAT, staging validation and go-live testing.
- Validate failure scenarios such as network outages, retries, duplicate events and integration errors.

Required Skills





- 2-4 years of experience in Software QA / Testing.
- Robust knowledge of STLC, test-case design, defect lifecycle and regression testing.
- Hands-on API testing experience and good understanding of REST, JSON and HTTP status codes.
- Working knowledge of SQL for backend and data validation.
- Experience testing web-based business or enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with defect-management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and clear written communication.

Good to Have

- Experience with ERP, manufacturing, logistics or IoT applications.
- Exposure to Playwright, Selenium or Cypress automation.
- Basic understanding of MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus or machine-generated telemetry.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
