SNEHA (Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action) is a Mumbai-based non-profit working to improve the health, nutrition, and safety of women and children in vulnerable communities through healthcare, education, and advocacy.

Key Programs: Maternal & Child Health, Adolescent Health, Prevention of Violence, Public System Partnership, and Palliative Care.

About the Finance Domain

The Finance Domain ensures responsible fund management, accounting, budgeting, payments, payroll, taxation, audits, and statutory and donor compliance.

Role: Support the Finance Manager, Finance Consultant, and Director–Finance with TDS, donation/grant accounting, statutory returns, reconciliations, audit documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Eligibility: Commerce/Finance degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Master’s degree or 10 years with a Bachelor’s degree. Non-profit sector experience is preferred.

Location: Santacruz, Mumbai
Reports to: Director–Finance

Key Responsibilities

- Manage TDS reconciliation, payments, and quarterly returns.




- Record and reconcile donations, grants, and bank receipts.
- Manage donor records, Form 10BD filings, and Form 10BE certificates.
- Support annual accounts, budgets, Income Tax, FCRA, and Charity Commissioner compliance.
- Coordinate statutory/internal audits and maintain financial documentation.
- Liaise with government offices, trustees, auditors, and internal teams.
- Support finance processes and stay updated on compliance requirements.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Office, particularly Excel.
