Job Summary:

Senior Data & AI Architect to define and evolve the target architecture for an enterprise client’s Azure-

native Data & AI platform. This senior role owns end-to-end design decisions across Microsoft Fabric,

Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, and core Azure services. The architect will set the

reference architectures, standards, and guardrails that keep data products, AI applications, and AI

agents scalable, secure, and governable. Working closely with engineering, business, governance, and

security stakeholders, they will turn business priorities into clear, actionable platform decisions. This is an

immediate opening for an architect ready to shape a strategic enterprise AI programme from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

 Define the reference architecture, design standards, and target-state roadmap for the enterprise

Data & AI platform on Azure.

 Lead architecture design for data products, AI applications, and AI agents, covering model

selection, grounding and retrieval patterns, tool integration, orchestration, and lifecycle controls.

 Design integration patterns across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, ERP, CRM, HR

and ITSM systems, APIs, and custom Azure services.

 Establish platform-wide guardrails for security, privacy, identity, DLP, observability, resilience,

and scalability, aligned with Microsoft Purview governance.





 Advise solution teams on the right technology for each requirement: Fabric, Foundry, Copilot

Studio, Power Automate, or custom Azure components.

 Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews, and decision forums, and record architecture

decisions with clear rationale and trade-offs.

 Mentor engineering and product teams and build a library of reusable architecture assets,

patterns, and standards.

Qualifications:

 Enterprise architecture: Proven ability to define target architectures, reference patterns, and

solution standards for complex, multi-system platforms.

 Data platform design: Deep understanding of modern data patterns for ingestion, storage,

serving, and governance, particularly on Microsoft Fabric.

 AI and agent architecture: Hands-on understanding of Microsoft Foundry for AI applications and

agents, including evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle considerations.

 Enterprise copilot design: Experience with Copilot Studio connectors, actions, topics,

orchestration, and deployment.

 Security and governance: Strong knowledge of identity, access management, compliance, and

operational governance in enterprise Azure environments.

 Stakeholder leadership: Excellent engagement, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills,

with the ability to translate use cases into scalable platform decisions.

 Education

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a

related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.





 Experience

o Minimum 5–7+ years of architecture experience in Azure-based enterprise environments.

o Demonstrated track record of defining target architectures or solution standards for

complex enterprise platforms.

o Prior experience in AI platform architecture, agent architecture, or enterprise copilot

design is strongly preferred.

 Certifications

o Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Power Platform Solution

Architect Expert (PL-600) preferred.

o Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700) or Azure AI Engineer

Associate (AI-102), or successor certifications, a plus.

 Technical Skills

o Data & governance: Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory),

Microsoft Purview.

o AI & agents: Microsoft Foundry (models, agents, evaluations, monitoring), Copilot Studio,

Azure AI Search, RAG and grounding patterns.

o Integration: Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure API

Management, Logic Apps.

o Security & identity: Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Key Vault, private networking, DLP

policies.

o Architecture practice: Reference architectures, architecture decision records, Azure Well-

Architected Framework.
