Job Description – Senior Hair Stylist and Top Stylist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Hair Stylist to join our team at JCB Salon. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling and hair treatments, along with excellent client consultation and customer service skills. The candidate will be responsible for delivering quality hair services, building client relationships and achieving assigned revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform professional hair services, including men's and women's haircuts, blow-dries, styling, global colour, highlights, balayage and other hair treatments.
- Conduct client consultations to understand hair concerns, preferences and desired results.
- Recommend suitable hairstyles, colours, treatments and professional hair-care products.
- Deliver consistent service quality in line with JCB's salon standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits and client retention.
- Achieve assigned monthly service revenue, product sales and other performance targets.
- Recommend relevant services and retail products based on client requirements.
- Maintain hygiene, workstation cleanliness and proper handling of tools and equipment.
- Keep up with current hairstyles, colouring techniques, trends and professional products.
- Handle client feedback professionally and coordinate with the Salon Manager when required.
- Follow salon SOPs, grooming standards and operational policies.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in men's and women's haircuts.
- Good knowledge of global colour,



highlights, balayage, root touch-ups and other colouring techniques.
- Proficiency in blow-drying, styling and hair treatments.
- Excellent client consultation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of hair types, textures, products and aftercare.
- Solid customer service and revenue-generation skills.
- Qualified grooming and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications and Experience

- Professional certification or diploma in Hairdressing/Cosmetology preferred.
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant hairdressing experience preferred.
- Experience working with premium salon brands is an advantage.
- Candidates must be confident in independently handling clients and delivering hair services.

- Monthly service revenue achievement.
- Retail product sales and service recommendations.
- Client retention and repeat bookings.
- Customer feedback and service quality.
- Adherence to salon SOPs, hygiene and grooming standards.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
