Job Overview

Shadows Architecture Studio is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in architectural design, space planning, technical drawings, and on-site project coordination.

The candidate should be proficient in architectural software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion, with the ability to develop design concepts, prepare architectural drawings, and coordinate with site teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Candidates from Kollam are preferred, and applicants residing near Kottarakkara will be given preference.

Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Office Timing: 09:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Holidays: All government holidays and the second Saturday.

1. QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognized institution.
- Freshers and candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply. Salary will be based on experience and skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion.
- Knowledge of architectural planning, design development, and preparation of technical drawings.
- Ability to understand architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Good visualization skills and an understanding of architectural design principles.
- Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and architectural detailing.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to visit project sites and coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and other team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while meeting project deadlines.
- A portfolio of academic or professional architectural projects is preferred.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in developing architectural concepts, plans, elevations, sections,



and detailed drawings.
- Prepare and modify architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop 3D models and architectural visualizations using SketchUp and Lumion.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other project team members.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure work follows the approved drawings and design specifications.
- Coordinate between the design team and site team to resolve design-related issues.
- Assist in preparing working drawings, construction details, and documentation required for project execution.
- Verify site dimensions and existing conditions and report discrepancies to the senior architect.
- Assist in material selection, design development, and maintaining architectural quality standards.
- Communicate design requirements clearly to the site team and ensure proper implementation.
- Monitor project progress, follow up on pending tasks, and support timely project completion.
- Revise drawings and designs based on client feedback and project requirements.
- Maintain project drawings, design documents, and records in an organized manner.
