Job Summary

SAMMS TECH SPM AUTOMATION is looking for a skilled Senior PLC Programmer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SPM machine automation. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and industrial automation systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs for Special Purpose Machines (SPM).
- Design and configure HMI screens for machine operation and monitoring.
- Work with Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta, or other PLC platforms.
- Handle machine automation, sequence control, interlocks, and safety logic.
- Troubleshoot PLC, sensors, actuators, VFDs, servo drives, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams and control panel drawings.
- Perform machine testing, commissioning, and production trials.
- Coordinate with electrical panel wiring, mechanical design, and assembly teams.
- Ensure smooth machine operation and resolve technical issues efficiently.




- Support customer-site installation and commissioning whenever required.
- Guide junior technicians and support the automation team.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience in HMI programming and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of sensors, VFDs, servo motors, pneumatic systems, and control circuits.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings and machine sequences.
- Practical experience in SPM machine automation is highly preferred.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, EEE, ECE, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
