Role description

Lead architecture and design of scalable data and analytics solutions on GCP

Design cloudnative data platforms using BigQuery Cloud Storage Dataflow Dataproc PubSub and Cloud Composer

Define endtoend architecture for data ingestion transformation storage processing and analytics

Design scalable ETLELT pipelines for batch and realtime data processing

Establish architecture standards covering security performance reliability governance and cost optimization

Lead cloud data migration and modernization initiatives

Collaborate with data engineers application teams security teams and business stakeholders

Conduct architecturedesign reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams

Drive reusable frameworks engineering standards and cloud best practices

Mentor technical teams and provide architectural leadership across projects

Required Skills

Strong handson expertise in Google Cloud Platform GCP and cloud data architecture

Strong experience with BigQuery Cloud Storage Dataflow Dataproc PubSub and Cloud Composer

Experience designing enterprisescale data lakes data warehouses and analytics platforms

Strong understanding of ETLELT SQL Python and dataprocessing frameworks

Knowledge of IAM security networking monitoring and governance within GCP

Experience with CICD Git Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices

Strong understanding of data modeling data integration and data governance

Strong architecture stakeholdermanagement problemsolving and technicalleadership capabilities

Preferred Skills

Google Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Data Engineer certification





Experience with Terraform and automated GCP deployments

Exposure to Spark Databricks Kafka or dbt

Experience with enterprise cloud migration and data modernization programs
