Modern Age Coders

India

Modern Age Coders is a live online education platform teaching coding and mathematics to students in 15+ countries, including the UK, USA, UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Recent Zealand and India. Every class is live and one-on-one or in small groups. We don’t sell recorded videos. We build real understanding, real confidence and real results.

We are now expanding our Mathematics department and want instructors who make maths the most exciting hour of a student’s day.

Who We Are Looking For

We do NOT want boring instructors.

We want teachers who are lively, energetic and fully expressive. You should know how to explain one idea five different ways. You should notice from a student’s face, a pause or a wrong step that they haven’t understood, and fix it on the spot.

Our standard is simple: the student should not notice the hour has gone by.

If you teach by reading from slides, talk in a monotone, or just solve questions while the student watches, this role is not for you.

If you love maths, love explaining it, and light up when a student finally “gets it”, we want to hear from you.

Position 2: Junior Mathematics Instructor (School Level, Grades 1–10)

You will build strong foundations and a genuine love of maths in younger students. Main focus: Grades 6, 7 and 8.

What you’ll teach:

- Grades 1–5: number sense, place value, the four operations, fractions, decimals, measurement, basic geometry, mental maths, word problems

What Makes a Great Instructor Here (Both Positions)

- High energy and full expression: your voice, face and enthusiasm keep the class alive
- Examples, examples, examples: cricket, shopping, pizza, video games, space; you connect maths to things students care about
- You read your student: you check understanding constantly, ask questions, and never just say “OK?” and move on
- Interactive, not one-way: the student talks, thinks and solves; you guide

- Patient and encouraging: no student ever feels stupid in your class
- Professional and reliable: on time,

prepared, honest and committed to your students’ progress

Mandatory Technical Setup

All classes are live online. You must have:

- ₹400 per class (1 hour) to start
- Performance-based growth: instructors who deliver great classes, receive strong student and parent feedback, and show consistency get more classes allotted and higher pay
- Steady flow of students from India and abroad, so you can build a substantial monthly income
- Flexible schedule. Classes run across Indian, UK, Middle East, US and Australia/NZ time zones (morning, evening, night and weekend slots available)
- Opportunity to grow into senior, lead instructor and curriculum roles as our maths department expands

How to Apply (Please Read Carefully)

Applications without a teaching video will not be considered.

- Senior applicants: teach one topic from Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, an A-Level/IB topic, or solve and explain one Olympiad problem
- Junior applicants: teach one topic from Grades 6–8 (e.g. fractions, integers, ratio, basic algebra) as if to a real student of that age
- Your camera must be ON and you must write using your pen tablet. We want to see your energy, expressions, handwriting and explanation style.
- Upload the video to Google Drive, set sharing to “Anyone with the link can view”, and send the link in the Indeed chat.
- Mention in the chat: which position you’re applying for, your available teaching hours (in IST), and the pen tablet you use.
