BAR SUPERVISOR (GOA BASED ONLY)

Yuma is an Amazonian, Latin American and Peruvian-inspired riverfront restaurant and nightlife destination coming to Siolim, Goa.

We’re looking for an experienced Bar Supervisor with a strong background in sundowner venues, clubs or nightlife operations to lead our bar team and ensure smooth, efficient service in a high-energy environment.

THE ROLE

- Supervise daily bar operations, including opening, closing and service.
- Lead and coordinate bartenders, barbacks and support staff during service.
- Maintain cocktail quality, consistency, presentation and service speed.
- Oversee bar preparation, mise en place, garnishes and station readiness.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, requisitions, wastage and daily consumption.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile beverage inventory with sales.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with applicable licensing requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and organisation across the bar.
- Train team members on cocktail preparation, product knowledge, service standards and upselling.
- Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager, Bar Manager, DJ and floor team during events and peak service.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and maintain service standards during busy periods.
- Monitor bar performance and help control beverage costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure the bar is prepared for sundowner service, events and late-night club operations.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor,



Senior Bartender or similar role.
- Mandatory experience working in a sundowner venue, nightclub or club environment.
- Strong understanding of high-volume bar operations and nightlife service.
- Positive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beer and beverage presentation.
- Experience managing bar inventory, stock reconciliation and beverage cost control.
- Ability to supervise a team and maintain service standards under pressure.
- Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and late-night shifts.
- Candidates based in Goa or willing to relocate to Siolim preferred.
