We are hiring an Accountant for Eatd Mills, our central kitchen in Kakkanad, Kochi, which also supports our Shawarmashi outlets and Minus Degree ice cream brand. You will keep our books accurate in Tally and prepare the daily and monthly reports the management team uses to run the business.
Reports to: Finance Manager / Founder
Type: Full-time, in office
Key responsibilities
- Record all sales, purchase, expense, payment and receipt entries in Tally Prime daily
- Prepare daily sales and cash reports for each outlet and the central kitchen
- Prepare monthly reports in Excel: sales summary, purchase and expense summary, stock and food cost
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash and UPI/card settlements every week
- Track vendor bills and payments; follow up on dues from B2B customers
- Prepare data for monthly GST returns and TDS, and coordinate with our consultants for filing
- Maintain bills, vouchers and records so they are easy to find during audits
- Support the Finance Manager with month-end closing and any reports needed
