Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Scrub Nurse to assist doctors during cardiac catheterization procedures and other interventional cardiac procedures. The candidate should have relevant experience in maintaining sterile techniques, preparing instruments, and ensuring patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Prepare and arrange sterile instruments, equipment, and procedure trays.
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and sterile field during procedures.
- Ensure the availability of required instruments, consumables, and emergency supplies.
- Monitor and maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
- Assist with patient positioning and preparation before procedures.
- Follow hospital protocols and maintain proper documentation.
- Check equipment readiness and report any malfunction promptly.
- Coordinate with the cath lab team to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications and Requirements
- GNM / B.Sc. / ANN Nursing or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
- Valid nursing registration as per applicable requirements.
- Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in a Cath Lab is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of sterile techniques, cardiac procedures, and infection control.
- Solid teamwork, communication, and clinical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in emergency situations.
