About the Role

A reputed Chartered Accountancy (CA) firm in Shahibaug, Ahmedabad, is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally Prime, GST return filing, bookkeeping, and accounting compliance.

This role involves managing accounting activities for multiple clients and visiting client locations 2–3 times per week for accounting, documentation, and compliance-related work.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger transactions using Tally Prime.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with GST compliance, taxation documentation, and statutory filings.
- Coordinate with clients to collect financial records and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Visit client locations 2–3 times per week for accounting and compliance-related assignments.




- Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Previous experience working in a CA firm is preferred.
- Hands-on proficiency in Tally Prime is essential.
- Practical experience in GST return preparation and filing is required.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Valuable communication and client coordination abilities.
- Willingness to travel locally for client visits 2–3 times per week.

Compensation

Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
