Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant Vice President (AVP) to lead the overall operations of a Ferro Unit. The candidate must have strong core experience in the Ferro industry, particularly in manganese ore-based operations, with expertise in plant management, production, furnace operations, cost optimization, and team leadership.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Oversee the overall operations and performance of the Ferro Unit.
- Plan and manage production activities to achieve production, quality, and efficiency targets.
- Monitor furnace operations, power consumption, manganese ore utilization, and production costs.
- Optimize raw material consumption, reduce wastage, and minimize operational downtime.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, procurement, stores, and other departments.
- Monitor KPIs related to production, productivity, energy consumption, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and profitability.
- Manage manpower planning, departmental performance,



and workforce productivity.
- Prepare operational reports, budgets, and performance reviews for senior management.
- Lead departmental heads and ensure smooth coordination across all plant functions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgy, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- 15–20+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a senior leadership role.
- Strong core experience in the Ferro Alloys industry, particularly manganese ore-based production and operations.
- In-depth knowledge of furnace operations, production processes, power consumption, and raw material management.
- Proven experience in plant management, cost control, team leadership, and operational improvement.

Key Candidate Criteria

- Age: Below 50 years.
- Industry Experience: Only candidates with core Ferro industry experience will be considered.
- Specific Requirement: Experience in manganese ore-based Ferro Unit operations is essential.
