Job Description: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Ambulance Services

Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Department: Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Job Location: Domlur & BTR Layout
Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month (depending on experience and certification)
Duty Hours: 8-hour rotational shifts, including night shifts
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years preferred

Job Responsibilities

- Provide immediate pre-hospital emergency care to patients during ambulance transfers.
- Assess patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate.
- Provide basic life support (BLS) and CPR within the scope of training and authorization.
- Assist in managing medical emergencies, trauma cases, and critically ill patients.
- Handle and maintain emergency medical equipment, including oxygen cylinders, stretchers, monitors, and first-aid supplies.
- Safely transfer and transport patients to hospitals while monitoring their condition.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, dispatch teams, and other emergency personnel.
- Maintain accurate patient care records and ambulance documentation.




- Ensure the ambulance is clean, sanitized, and adequately stocked after every assignment.
- Follow emergency response protocols, infection control guidelines, and patient safety standards.

Eligibility Criteria

- Qualification: EMT certification, Diploma in Emergency Medical Services, or relevant healthcare qualification.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in ambulance services, emergency care, or pre-hospital care preferred.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, CPR, and basic life support.
- BLS/ACLS certification mandatory as per project requirements.
- Good communication, teamwork, and patient-handling skills.
- Must be willing to work 8-hour rotational shifts, including nights.
- Must be responsible, punctual, and capable of handling emergency situations.
