NRC Group of Industries is looking for a motivated Engineer – QA & QC to join our Quality team. This role offers an opportunity to work with engineering drawings, fabrication processes, welding quality and inspection activities while collaborating with experienced engineers and production teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Carry out incoming material inspection and verify materials against drawings, specifications and purchase requirements.
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings and inspection criteria to verify dimensions, workmanship and product quality.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores and Purchase teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurring defects.
- Support inspection activities at supplier locations and customer sites as required.
- Assist in preparing inspection reports, quality records, inspection plans and product documentation.
- Monitor measuring instruments and welding equipment calibration status and maintain relevant records.
- Support the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 requirements, quality procedures and document traceability.
- Assist in preparing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) and Quality Control Plans (QCP).
- Coordinate with customers and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies during inspections and testing.




- Identify quality issues, support root cause analysis and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 1 year of relevant QA & QC experience, or DME with relevant QA & QC experience.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, dimensional inspection and fabrication processes.
- Understanding of welding processes, inspection methods and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and calibration requirements.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management systems.
- Working knowledge of MS Office for reports and documentation.
- Good observation, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Candidates with exposure to NDT methods, ASME / IS / EN standards, customer inspections or Third-Party Inspection (TPI) coordination will have an added advantage.
