Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Finance & Accounts to lead F&A; operations and manage a team in a dynamic workplace. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting and leadership skills, along with relevant experience in the Insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Finance & Accounting operations.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of finance professionals.
- Oversee AP, AR, GL, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
- Monitor team performance and ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
- Drive process improvements and maintain compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage stakeholder interactions and resolve escalations effectively.
Requirements
- Must have a Finance/Accounts educational background (B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- 8+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Minimum 4+ years of team handling experience.
- Mandatory 1-2+ years of experience in the Insurance domain.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work from the Kochi office in night shifts.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
