Job Purpose

To manage daily accounting transactions, maintain accurate financial records, track inventory and production-related costs, and assist the finance team in monthly closings and statutory compliances.

Key Responsibilities

- Day-to-Day Accounting:
- Record daily transactions including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries in Tally or ERP software.
- Maintain and update the General Ledger.
- Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Process vendor invoices, manage payment schedules, and reconcile vendor statements.
- Track customer billings, monitor aging reports, and follow up on overdue receivables.
- Manufacturing & Inventory Accounting:
- Record entries related to raw material issues, finished goods production, and stock transfers.
- Track inventory costs, support stock reconciliations, and assist in variance analysis.
- Reconciliations:
- Perform regular bank, cash, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
- Statutory Compliance:
- Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS,



and other local statutory obligations.
- Reporting & Audits:
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare periodic MIS (Management Information System) reports and assist auditors during statutory or internal audits.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Finance/Accounting equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of hands-on accounting experience (experience in FMCG, food processing, or manufacturing environments is strongly preferred).

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in accounting software like Tally or local ERP systems.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Clear understanding of Indian GST, TDS, and basic taxation rules.

Soft Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Positive communication skills for coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal plant/factory teams.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
