Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Milling Machine Operator with practical knowledge of machining operations, component manufacturing, and engineering drawings. The candidate should have experience in operating milling machines and machining components used in SPM machines and automation equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate conventional milling machines for machining metal components.
- Perform milling, facing, slotting, drilling, and other machining operations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and component dimensions.
- Select and use appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
- Machine components as per drawing specifications and required tolerances.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and product quality.
- Follow production schedules and complete work within deadlines.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow workplace safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience operating milling machines.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and machining tolerances.
- Familiarity with vernier calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
- Experience machining components for SPM machines is preferred.
Educational Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
Experience Criteria
- Only experienced candidates should apply.
- Practical experience in milling machine operation is mandatory.
- Candidates with SPM, tool room, or precision machining experience will be preferred.
