Job Description The Embedded Firmware Architect is responsible for defining the overall architecture,design principles, and technical strategy for embedded systems and firmware solutions.

- This role is responsible for defining firmware architecture, ensuring compliance withregulatory standards, and delivering robust, real-time, and safety-critical solutions

This role ensures that embedded Firmware is robust, scalable, secure, and aligned withhardware design and system-level requirements. The architect leads technical decision making, mentors engineering teams, andcollaborates across disciplines including hardware, systems, and product managementto deliver reliable, high-performance embedded products..Specific Job Skills Required
 Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Biomedical, ComputerScience, or related) 15–20 years of experience in system design, preferably in medical devices or healthcare
Strong expertise in: C/C++ (embedded) Microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, etc.) and Microprocessor – TI,NXP ,NVIDIA RTOS (FreeRTOS, Thread, VxWorks) and Embedded Linux




Key Responsibility: Define the firmware architecture for embedded medical devices. Design scalable, modular, and reusable firmware frameworks. Lead Embedded Platform MCU and Microprocessor development with real-timeembedded systems (RTOS, Embedded Linux or bare-metal). Translate system and clinical requirements into firmware design. Ensure compliance with: IEC 62304 IEC 60601 Define interfaces between firmware, hardware, and higher-level software. Lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making. Collaborate with hardware, systems, QARA, and clinical teams. Support verification & validation, debugging, and root cause analysis. Guide teams on low-level drivers, BSP, and middleware integration and Board bring up Drive proof-of-concept projects and early prototypes.General Skills Required
