Position: Principal OSS/BSS Architect

Role Summary:

- We are looking for a senior OSS/BSS professional to lead the architecture, design and delivery of large-scale telecom operations and business support systems.
- You will act as the technical authority across the OSS/BSS landscape, guiding digital transformation programs, shaping solution strategy, and mentoring teams while engaging directly with CSP stakeholders at senior levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define end-to-end OSS/BSS architecture and roadmaps aligned with business and digital transformation goals.
- Lead solution design across order-to-cash, lead-to-order, trouble-to-resolve and service assurance domains.
- Drive large-scale implementation, migration and modernization programs (legacy to cloud-native / microservices).
- Own technical governance: design reviews, integration standards, NFRs, security and compliance.
- Support pre-sales: RFP/RFI responses, solution workshops, estimations and client presentations.
- Engage with C-level and senior client stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Mentor architects, tech leads and delivery teams; build reusable accelerators and best practices.
- Ensure delivery quality, risk mitigation and adherence to timelines and budgets.

Required Skills & Experience:

Domain expertise (BSS)

- Product catalog, CPQ, order management, customer management/CRM
- Billing & charging (convergent, online/offline), rating, mediation, revenue assurance
- Partner/wholesale settlement, payments and collections

Domain expertise (OSS)

- Service and resource inventory, orchestration, provisioning and activation
- Fault, performance and service assurance; network/service management
- Network inventory, topology, and SLA management

Standards & frameworks

- TM Forum Frameworx: eTOM, SID, TAM, Open APIs; ODA / Open Digital Architecture
- Familiarity with 3GPP concepts and 4G/5G, FTTx and IoT/enterprise services

Technical skills

- Solution architecture,



integration patterns, REST/event-driven APIs, microservices, Kafka/ESB
- Cloud-native and containerized deployments (Kubernetes, Docker), public/private cloud
- Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL), CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Exposure to 5G Core, network slicing and orchestration (ONAP/MANO) is a plus

Platforms (experience with several of the following is desirable)

- Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia, Oracle (BRM/OSM/UIM), Netcracker, CSG, Optiva, Salesforce Communications Cloud, ServiceNow Telecom, or equivalent.

Delivery & leadership

- 16+ years in telecom IT, with a minimum of 10 years in OSS/BSS
- Proven track record on multi-million-dollar transformation programs end to end
- Experience in both Agile and hybrid delivery models
- Solid stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills

Education & Certifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- Preferred: TM Forum certifications, TOGAF, cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP), PMP/SAFe

Good to Have

- Experience with Greenfield/MVNO/MVNE launches
- Exposure to AI/ML-driven automation, closed-loop assurance and analytics
- Prior experience as a Delivery Head, Practice Lead or Chief Architect

Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
