Relationship Manager

About the Role:

We’re looking for a sharp, organised Relationship Manager for an on-site role in Chandigarh. You’ll support stakeholder relationships by managing day-to-day communications - handling enquiries, emails, and requests with professionalism, accuracy, and speed. The role also involves basic accounting support to keep financial records organised and up to date.

If you enjoy keeping conversations moving, resolving issues before they escalate, and carefully handling straightforward accounting tasks, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage a high volume of emails and enquiries, responding promptly, clearly, and professionally.
- Track outstanding matters and follow up consistently so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Coordinate with internal teams to get accurate information and resolve queries efficiently.
- Handle concerns and escalations with tact, escalating when necessary.
- Keep organised records of correspondence, follow-ups, and action items.
- Support basic accounting tasks such as:
- Recording daily transactions
- Preparing simple invoices and expense claims
- Maintaining accounts receivable/payable records
- Assisting with bank reconciliations and monthly reports
- Look for practical ways to improve response times, communication workflows, and stakeholder experience.

Stakeholders get timely, accurate answers. Emails don’t sit unanswered. Follow-ups happen on schedule. Financial records are kept accurate and up to date. People walk away from every interaction feeling they were treated professionally and fairly.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-haves

- Excellent written and spoken English (strong grammar, clear structure, skilled tone)
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of email and prioritise effectively
- Strong organisational skills and a disciplined approach to follow-ups
- Comfort working independently while staying responsive and dependable
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and comfort with numbers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Able to work on-site in Chandigarh

Nice-to-haves

- Previous experience in relationship management, client servicing, customer service, or administrative coordination
- Experience with accounting software
- Experience handling sensitive or challenging conversations with diplomacy
