We are looking for a skilled and creative 2D Video Editor with a strong understanding of visual

storytelling, motion graphics, transitions, typography, and current social media trends. The ideal

candidate should be able to transform creative concepts into engaging video content while

maintaining the brand’s visual identity and quality standards.

Experience working with premium brands, D2C brands, or lifestyle and wellness products will be

an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

● Social Media Video Editing: Edit engaging short-form videos, Instagram Reels,

YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, product videos, and other social media content.

● 2D Motion Graphics: Create 2D animations, motion graphics, animated text, kinetic

typography, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video storytelling.

● Creative Conceptualization: Understand creative briefs and contribute ideas for video

concepts, storytelling, visual treatments, and content formats.

● Social Media Trends: Stay updated on trending Reels, editing styles, transitions, audio

formats, and visual techniques, adapting them to suit the brand.

● Brand Consistency: Ensure all videos align with the brand’s tone, aesthetic, visual

identity, and communication guidelines, particularly for premium brand positioning.

● Product Videos: Create visually appealing product showcases, feature highlights,

promotional videos, and campaign creatives that communicate product perks

effectively.

● Creative Collaboration: Work closely with social media managers, graphic designers,

copywriters, and marketing teams to translate ideas into high-quality video content.

● Animation & Visual Effects: Use motion graphics, 2D animation, masking,

compositing, and other editing techniques to improve the quality and impact of videos.

● Audio & Sound Design: Select suitable music, sound effects, voiceovers, and audio

transitions to enhance the overall viewing experience.

● Multi-format Editing:



Adapt videos into different aspect ratios and formats for

Instagram, YouTube, paid social campaigns, and other digital platforms.

● Content Optimization: Create platform-appropriate edits with engaging openings, clear

messaging, appropriate pacing, subtitles, and strong visual hooks.

● Feedback & Revisions: Incorporate feedback from the marketing and creative teams

while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

● Asset Management: Organize video files, project files, footage, music, graphics, and

other creative assets for easy access and future edits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 2–4 years of professional experience in video editing, with a strong focus on social

media content.

● Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro.

● Strong understanding of 2D animation, motion graphics, typography, transitions,

compositing, and visual effects.

● Experience editing Instagram Reels, short-form videos, product videos, and promotional

content.

● Good aesthetic sense and an understanding of premium branding, composition, colour

grading, and visual storytelling.

● Ability to understand creative briefs and convert concepts into engaging visual content.

● Familiarity with social media formats, audience behaviour, and current video content

trends.

● Ability to manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback, and deliver quality work within

deadlines.

● A strong portfolio showcasing social media video edits, motion graphics, and 2D

animation work is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience working with premium D2C, wellness, nutrition, beauty, lifestyle, or FMCG

brands.

● Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for working with design assets.

● Experience creating product explainers, animated advertisements, campaign videos,

and performance marketing creatives.

● Understanding of how video hooks, pacing, subtitles, and visual storytelling influence

social media engagement.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
