Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Tax Enterprise Architect to design and oversee enterprise architecture across finance, taxation, order management, and related retail business processes. The candidate will translate business requirements into scalable, integrated technology solutions, preferably with SAP ecosystem experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design enterprise architecture for finance, accounting, taxation, and order-to-cash (O2C) processes.
Define end-to-end integration between order management systems, ERP, tax engines, payment platforms, and financial systems.
Design solutions for tax determination, compliance, invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting across markets.
Align retail business processes, omnichannel operations, and order lifecycle management with enterprise architecture.
Define integration patterns, data flows, APIs, master data governance, and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and external vendors.
Ensure scalability, security, regulatory compliance, and consistency across the technology landscape.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in enterprise architecture, finance, and taxation within retail or consumer-facing businesses.
Deep understanding of general ledger,



accounts payable/receivable, tax compliance, revenue recognition, and financial controls.
Experience designing or integrating order management systems and end-to-end O2C processes.
Knowledge of ERP integration, APIs, middleware, and enterprise application architecture.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical architecture and implementation roadmaps.
Solid stakeholder management and communication skills.

Good to Have

SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FI/CO, SAP SD, SAP Tax, or SAP BTP experience.
Exposure to SAP CAR, SAP Commerce Cloud, or third-party order management platforms.
Experience with tax engines such as Vertex, Avalara, or similar solutions.
Familiarity with omnichannel retail, e-commerce, POS, payments, and international tax regulations.

Ideal Candidate

A hands-on enterprise architect who combines strong finance and tax domain expertise with order management architecture and integration experience, and can work independently with distributed teams in a remote environment.
