- Create and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting machines
- Perform nesting to maximize material utilization
- Interpret engineering drawings and CAD files
- Set cutting parameters (speed, power, gas, etc.)
- Coordinate with production and quality teams
Troubleshoot cutting issues and improve cycle time
Key Skills
- Knowledge of CNC laser/Punching machines (e.g., Trumpf, Amada, Yawaei)
- Nesting software (AutoCAD, Radan,Metalix, AP100 etc.)
- Understanding of sheet metal drawings & tolerances
- Material knowledge (CRCA, HRCA, SS, Aluminium)
Experience
- 2–4 years in CNC laser programming
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical or related field
