About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Security Lead to lead and strengthen the organization's information and cloud security posture. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Microsoft security technologies, Azure, identity management, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security operations.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing security controls, monitoring security risks, managing incidents, and working closely with technology and business teams to ensure a secure IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the organization's information and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls across Microsoft and Azure environments.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and related security solutions.
- Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and coordinate incident response.
- Identify and assess security vulnerabilities and implement appropriate remediation measures.
- Define and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular security assessments, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
- Implement and monitor Identity & Access Management (IAM), including MFA, Conditional Access, RBAC, and privileged access.
- Work with infrastructure, application, and development teams to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Support secure configuration and hardening of Azure resources, endpoints, networks, and applications.
- Manage security incidents from detection through investigation, containment, and resolution.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and prepare incident reports and recommendations.
- Monitor security posture using SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, and other security tools.
- Support security audits, compliance requirements, and documentation.
- Develop security awareness and best-practice guidelines for internal teams.




- Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and Microsoft security technologies.

Required Technical Skills

- 5–8 years of experience in Cybersecurity / Information Security / Security Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, and Defender for Identity.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel / SIEM.
- Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and Privileged Access Management.
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, and security monitoring.
- Experience in vulnerability assessment and remediation.
- Understanding of incident response and security operations.
- Good knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and Azure security architecture.
- Robust analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).
- Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or other relevant security certifications.
- Experience with security automation and PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and application security.
- Experience with security compliance and audits.
- Exposure to AWS/GCP security environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
