We have established a hybrid high-density apple orchard that we are expanding year on year. We're looking for a hands-on Orchard Manager to oversee its growth, health and productivity through every season.

What you'll do

- Oversee day-to-day orchard operations across the full annual cycle: dormancy, pruning, flowering, fruit set, harvest and post-harvest
- Manage plant health, including nutrition, spray schedules, pest and disease control, irrigation and trellis or support systems
- Plan and supervise new plantings as the orchard expands
- Lead and coordinate field labour and seasonal workers
- Monitor yield, fruit quality and input costs, and keep accurate records
- Give regular inputs to the management team on planning, investment and expansion
- Share timely, critical feedback with the back-end team on procurement, inventory,



sales and logistics

What we're looking for

- Degree or diploma in Agriculture or Horticulture (B.Sc./M.Sc. preferred)
- Proven experience managing apple orchards, ideally high-density plantations on clonal rootstocks
- Strong knowledge of Kashmir's climate, soil and orchard practices
- Active, energetic and comfortable spending most of the day in the field
- Organised, with the ability to plan ahead for each season
- Transparent communicator who can report problems early and suggest solutions
- Own two-wheeler preferred

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
