We are looking for a skilled APIGEE Developer with 4–7 years of experience in API Management, API Development, and API Security. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Google Apigee Edge/Apigee X, API lifecycle management, API gateway implementation, and enterprise application integration.

The role involves designing, developing, securing, monitoring, and supporting APIs in a cloud-native environment.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, deploy, and support APIs using Apigee Edge/Apigee X.
- Create and maintain API proxies, shared flows, API products, developer portals, and security policies.
- Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Key Validation, Mutual TLS, and threat protection policies.
- Develop API integrations with backend systems, microservices, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.
- Configure traffic management policies, caching, rate limiting, quota management, and spike arrest policies.
- Perform API performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable API solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployments using DevOps tools.
- Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, and operational runbooks.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards.

3. Required Skills & Experience

- 4–7 years of experience in API development and integration.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Google Apigee Edge or Apigee X.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and API lifecycle management.
- Experience developing API policies,



shared flows, proxy endpoints, and target endpoints.
- Robust knowledge of API security concepts: OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, API Key Management, TLS/mTLS
- Experience working with JSON, XML, XSLT, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for Apigee policy development and customization.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
- Hands-on experience with Git version control.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

4. Preferred Skills

- Experience with Apigee Hybrid or Apigee X.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven integrations.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Knowledge of MuleSoft, Kong, AWS API Gateway, or other API management platforms.
- Apigee certification.

5. Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant Apigee, Cloud, or API Management certifications will be an added advantage.
