We are seeking a results-driven and resilient Collection Executive to manage and recover overdue payments from our loan portfolios (e.g., Personal Loans, Vehicle Loans, Microfinance, or MSME Loans). In this role, you will communicate directly with customers to negotiate repayment schedules, resolve payment disputes, and minimize the company's Non-Performing Assets (NPAs).

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, a firm yet polite approach, and strict adherence to RBI guidelines regarding debt collection.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Tracking & Recovery

- Monitor allocated accounts to identify overdue payments and delinquencies.
- Reach out to defaulting customers via phone calls, emails, and field visits (if applicable) to secure outstanding payments.
- Meet or exceed monthly recovery targets and reduce the Gross NPA percentage of the assigned bucket.

Negotiation & Settlement

- Negotiate repayment plans, EMI restructures, or loan settlements with customers facing financial difficulties.
- Address and resolve customer grievances or discrepancies regarding loan statements and interest charges.




- Follow up consistently on broken promises to pay (PTP).

Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure all collection activities strictly adhere to RBI Fair Practices Code and internal compliance guidelines.
- Maintain an empathetic, skilled, and non-coercive tone during all customer interactions to prevent reputational risk.
- Update the collection software/CRM system daily with accurate interaction notes, payment commitments, and field reports.
- Coordinate with the legal team to initiate legal notices for willful defaulters when necessary.
- Education: Graduate in any domain , Business Administration, or Finance.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in collection, debt recovery, or customer retention within an NBFC, Bank, or Fintech setup.
