Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medicines as per prescriptions.

Receive and verify prescriptions from patients and hospital departments.

Support the preparation and labeling of medicines under the pharmacist’s supervision.

Maintain proper stock of medicines and medical supplies.

Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medicines.

Arrange medicines systematically on pharmacy shelves.

Assist in purchasing, receiving, and verifying pharmacy stock.

Maintain records of medicine purchases, sales, and stock movements.

Support billing and cash collection at the pharmacy counter.

Assist patients with medicine availability and direct medication-related queries to the pharmacist.

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments regarding medicine requirements.





Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items to the pharmacist.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.

Follow hospital policies, pharmacy procedures, and applicable regulations.

Ensure the secure handling and storage of medicines.

Report expired, damaged, or defective medicines to the pharmacist.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Perform other pharmacy-related duties assigned by the pharmacist or department in-charge.
