# Graduate Engineer Trainee – PPC (Planning Engineer) ## Role Overview Nandan GSE is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Graduate Engineer Trainee to join our Planning & Project Control (PPC) function. As the nerve center of our operations, the PPC team is responsible for converting customer orders into executable plans across Design, Purchase, Production, Quality, and Dispatch. This entry-level role is designed for fresh graduates eager to kickstart their career in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The GET will undergo structured rotation to develop robust ownership of planning accuracy, schedule adherence, MIS, ERP discipline, and critical cross-functional coordination, directly contributing to our mission of building India's next manufacturing powerhouse. ## Work Location Khalapur, Maharashtra ## Key Responsibilities * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in close coordination with Production and Sales teams. * Track plan-vs-actual variance diligently and report deviations with actionable insights. * Maintain comprehensive project Gantt charts and milestone trackers to ensure project visibility and control. * Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) runs, identify potential shortages, and proactively follow up with Purchase and Stores departments. * Ensure timely material availability, meticulously aligned with production schedules to prevent delays. * Coordinate dispatch readiness activities with Production and Quality teams, ensuring products meet all specifications before shipment. * Maintain accurate and disciplined entries in the ERP system and various trackers. * Prepare daily production MIS (Management Information System) reports, project status reports, and performance dashboards. * Support internal and external audits, as well as management review meetings, by providing necessary data and insights. * Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing planning processes and propose continuous improvement initiatives. * Drive structured follow-ups across all functional departments to ensure adherence to plans and timelines. * Build planning capability and deepen knowledge of Nandan GSE's diverse product lines, including Ground Support Equipment (GSE), Defence Systems, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE). ## What We're Looking For ### Required Skills & Qualifications * **Education**: BE / BTech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering. * **Experience**: 0 years (Fresh Graduate). * **Technical Skills**: * Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. * Familiarity with Project Planning Tools. * Basic understanding of ERP systems, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms. * Knowledge of Production Planning principles.



* Understanding of Project Planning methodologies. * Awareness of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) concepts. * Ability to prepare MIS Reports. * **Soft Skills**: * Strong analytical and structured thinking abilities. * Disciplined approach to follow-ups across various functions. * Comfort and aptitude for working with ERP systems, dashboards, and reporting tools. * High sense of ownership for timelines and project deliverables. * Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. ### Preferred Qualifications (Valuable-to-Have Skills) * Prior internship experience in PPC, Planning, or Project Management. * Basic knowledge of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) product lines. * Basic knowledge of Defence product lines. * Basic knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) product lines. ## Work Culture & Expectations * **Work Schedule**: 6 days per week, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM. Sundays and the 3rd Saturday of every month are off. * **Work Mode**: This is a 100% Work From Office role at our Khalapur manufacturing facility. Work from home / remote / hybrid work is NOT permitted.
