D2C Dispatch Captain — Order Tracking and Exceptions
About the role
In this role, you’ll focus on order visibility and exception resolution after dispatch. You’ll work with fulfillment and courier teams to keep order statuses current and help resolve issues that could affect delivery timelines or customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Track dispatched orders and investigate status gaps or delayed updates.
- Follow up on failed handovers, missing scans, and delivery exceptions.
- Coordinate timely resolution with courier partners and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate exception records and closure notes.
- Escalate cases that may affect customer commitments or service levels.
Requirements
- Experience with order tracking, customer operations, or logistics support.
- Careful attention to detail and explicit written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple open issues and follow them through to closure.
