About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Assistant to support our finance team with daily accounting, statutory compliance, and reporting. Candidates with experience working with a CA will be preferred, as the role involves preparing work for CA review and coordinating on compliance and audits.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile with GSTR-2B/2A
- Calculate, deduct, deposit, and file TDS returns; issue TDS certificates and reconcile TDS data
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and share them with management on time
- Perform month-end and year-end book closing, including accruals, provisions, and adjustments
- Carry out bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
- Prepare schedules, working papers, and documents for CA review and audits
- Coordinate with the CA on compliance deadlines, queries, and filings




- Maintain proper records of vouchers, invoices, and statutory documents

Required Skills and Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent (CA Inter / CMA Inter or pursuing CA/CMA is a plus)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, books of accounts, MIS reporting, and book closing
- Proficiency in Tally (Prime/ERP 9) or similar accounting software
- Valuable command of MS Excel (lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to take feedback and handle confidential financial data responsibly
