Job Description: Area Sales Manager – uPVC Doors & Windows

Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing dealer and distributor networks, generating project business, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. The role involves market expansion, customer relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to increase the company's market presence in uPVC doors and windows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and expand dealer, distributor, and fabricator networks.
- Generate business from builders, contractors, architects, and developers.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential projects.
- Promote and sell uPVC doors and windows within the assigned territory.

2. Territory & Market Management

- Develop and implement territory-wise sales plans.
- Conduct market visits to identify new customers and business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Implement promotional schemes and sales strategies.
- Expand market coverage and strengthen the company's brand presence.

3. Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and key customers.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and payment conditions within approved limits.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections.
- Address customer queries and coordinate for timely resolution of complaints.
- Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective customers.

4. Team Management & Performance

- Guide and support sales executives and channel partners.




- Set sales targets and monitor performance against defined KPIs.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and market reviews.
- Assist the team in customer negotiations and closing major deals.
- Provide product and market-related guidance to the sales team.

5. Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with estimation, production, dispatch, and accounts teams.
- Maintain sales pipelines, customer databases, and business forecasts.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and MIS to management.
- Track order status, delivery schedules, and customer feedback.
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales performance and market developments.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong sales and business development skills.
- Knowledge of uPVC doors, windows, profiles, or the building materials industry.
- Experience in dealer and distributor network development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and manage a defined territory.
- Good market analysis, planning, and forecasting abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–6 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in uPVC doors and windows, building materials, or construction products.
- Location: As per assigned territory.
- Job Type: Full-time.
- Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / National Sales Manager / Management, as applicable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
