1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in construction project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting. The candidate will be responsible for developing project schedules, tracking progress, identifying delays, preparing progress reports, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely completion of construction activities.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Prepare baseline schedules, work programs, and detailed construction activity schedules.
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define activity sequences, durations, and dependencies.
- Monitor actual progress against planned schedules and identify deviations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Track project milestones, critical path activities, and schedule performance.
- Conduct delay analysis and recommend corrective and recovery plans.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, QA/QC, procurement, and subcontractors.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules for weekly and monthly construction activities.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resource requirements in coordination with site teams.
- Prepare progress curves, S-curves, and planned-versus-actual progress reports.
- Review contractor schedules and monitor subcontractor performance.
- Identify potential project delays and highlight risks affecting project completion.
- Assist in preparing catch-up plans, revised schedules, and mitigation strategies.
- Monitor procurement schedules and material delivery milestones.
- Prepare progress presentations for management and client review meetings.
- Maintain schedule updates,



progress records, and project planning documentation.
- Support Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and delay-related documentation when required.

3. Educational Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in construction planning and project controls.

4. Technical Skills Required

- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Robust knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
- Understanding of critical path method (CPM) and project milestones.
- Experience preparing baseline schedules and schedule updates.
- Knowledge of progress measurement, S-curves, and earned value concepts.
- Ability to prepare reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of construction sequences, productivity norms, and resource planning.
- Understanding of delay analysis and project recovery planning.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy and timely submission of project schedules.
- Achievement of planned project milestones.
- Timely identification and reporting of schedule deviations.
- Accuracy of progress reports and forecasts.
- Effectiveness of delay mitigation and recovery plans.
- Timely preparation of weekly and monthly reports.
- Coordination between planning, execution, procurement, and project control teams.

6. Preferred Experience

- Experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and project management teams.
- Familiarity with project control procedures and management reporting.
- Experience in resource loading, schedule risk identification, and EOT documentation.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per month
