Sales Manager

Department: Sales & Business Development
Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement & Sales

- Attend customer meetings and understand their requirements.
- Conduct professional product presentations and live demonstrations of Advaint solutions.
- Explain product features, benefits, technical capabilities, and commercial offerings to customers.
- Handle enquiries from homeowners, builders, developers, architects, interior designers, consultants, and channel partners.
- Follow up with prospective customers and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers in coordination with the technical and management teams.

2. Business Development

- Identify new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and real estate projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with builders, developers, architects, consultants, electrical contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Generate leads through networking, site visits, referrals, meetings, and industry events.
- Develop sales opportunities for smart home automation, building management, access control, and security solutions.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and work towards achieving assigned sales targets.

3. Product Presentations & Demonstrations

- Deliver presentations at customer locations, project sites, offices, and exhibitions.
- Demonstrate product functionality and explain the value of Advaint's integrated automation solutions.
- Understand customer expectations and recommend suitable product configurations.
- Coordinate with technical teams for product demonstrations, technical clarifications, and customized requirements.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate product improvement suggestions to the management team.

4. Proposal & Order Management





- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and presentations within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with the technical team for bill of materials, specifications, and solution configurations.
- Negotiate commercial terms within approved pricing and discount limits.
- Follow up on proposals, purchase orders, advances, and payment milestones.
- Coordinate with Operations and Installation teams for project handover and customer commitments.

5. Sales Reporting & Customer Relationship Management

- Maintain customer databases, lead records, meeting notes, and opportunity status.
- Update the CRM or sales tracking system regularly.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and target achievement updates.
- Track competitor offerings, market trends, customer preferences, and pricing.
- Maintain customer relationships and support issue resolution in coordination with the relevant teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or solution selling.
- Experience in home automation, building automation, electrical products, security systems, or real estate sales will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical products in simple, customer-friendly language.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM or sales management tools.
- Strong follow-up, lead conversion, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, project visits, and business development activities.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹500,000.00 per year
