Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified BHMS Duty Doctor to join our clinical team in Salem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing primary medical care, monitoring inpatient progress, managing emergency situations under senior supervision, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care: Examine and evaluate patients, take detailed medical histories, and formulate appropriate treatment plans in consultation with senior specialists.

Ward Rounds: Conduct regular rounds for admitted patients, monitor vitals, and report any clinical changes immediately to the consultant.

Emergency Management: Provide immediate first-line medical response and stabilization during clinical emergencies.

Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date Electronic Medical Records (EMR) / patient files regarding diagnoses, treatments, and prescriptions.

Patient Communication: Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment procedures,



medication schedules, and preventive healthcare.

Compliance: Adhere strictly to hospital clinical protocols, infection control guidelines, and statutory healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) from a recognized institution. (Valid State Medical Council registration preferred).

Experience: 0 to 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting (Freshers with strong clinical acumen are welcome to apply).

Skills:

Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.

Basic Life Support (BLS) knowledge or willingness to undergo training.

Compassionate bedside manner and excellent communication skills in English and Tamil.

Ability to handle rotational shifts / night duties.
