About the RoleWe're looking for a hands-on Warehouse & Merchandising Associate to manage dispatches from our godown and make sure JD Ceramic products are well presented at our dealer stores. The role splits time between the warehouse and field visits to dealer locations, so it suits someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable on the move.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch Management

- Plan and execute daily dispatches against sales orders, ensuring the right product, size, shade, and quantity go out on time.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents (challans, invoices, e-way bills) and coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and loading.
- Supervise loading so tiles are packed and stacked safely to minimise breakage in transit.
- Maintain dispatch records and share daily dispatch status with the sales and accounts teams.
- Handle breakage and short-delivery complaints by coordinating with dealers and transporters.

Merchandising & Sampling at Dealer Stores

- Visit dealer stores on a planned schedule to set up and refresh JD Ceramic displays, panels, and sample boards.
- Deliver and arrange product samples, catalogues, and POP material for new launches and running designs.
- Ensure displays follow company visual standards and that current collections are prominently placed.
- Gather feedback from dealers and their staff on product movement, customer preferences, and competitor activity.

Display Audits at Dealer Locations





- Conduct periodic display audits covering display condition, product placement, pricing and branding visibility, and sample availability.
- Record findings with photographs in the prescribed audit format and flag damaged or outdated displays.
- Follow up on corrective actions and report audit results to the sales manager.

Internal Stock Audit

- Conduct the annual physical stock audit of our own godown, reconciling physical stock with system records (by design, size, grade, and shade/batch).
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged stock, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
- Support accounts in finalising stock valuation and help implement corrective measures.

General Warehouse Upkeep

- Keep the godown organised with clear location-wise and batch-wise storage for quick picking.
- Ensure protected handling practices and cleanliness in the storage area.

Requirements

- Graduate or 12th pass with relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of dispatch documentation (challan, invoice, e-way bill).
- Basic computer skills: MS Excel, email, and familiarity with Tally/ERP is a plus.
- Good communication skills in [Hindi/English/local language] for dealer interaction.
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred, as the role involves regular dealer visits.
- Physically fit and willing to spend time both in the warehouse and in the field.
- Nominal computer knowledge.
