We aim to build an intelligent sports ecosystem that connects fans, stadium operators, sports organizations, and commercial partners through innovative technology.

Role Overview

We are looking for a visionary, technically strong, and execution-oriented Founding CTO to lead our technology strategy and product development from the ground up. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the technical architecture, product development, engineering team, AI integration, platform scalability, and long-term technology roadmap. This is an opportunity to join an early-stage startup in a leadership position and help shape the future of sports technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Strategy and Architecture - Define the company's technology vision, architecture, and development roadmap. - Select suitable programming languages, frameworks, cloud infrastructure, and development tools. - Build a scalable, secure, reliable, and cost-effective technology platform.

2. Product Development - Lead the design, development, testing, and launch of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). - Oversee web platforms, mobile applications, backend systems, APIs, and databases. - Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.

3. AI and Sports Technology - Evaluate and integrate suitable AI/ML capabilities into the platform. - Oversee sports data integration, analytics, personalization, and intelligent automation. - Coordinate the integration of relevant stadium technologies and third-party systems.

4. Engineering Team Leadership - Recruit, mentor, and manage developers and technical specialists. - Establish coding standards, code reviews, testing practices, and development workflows. - Manage technical priorities, delivery timelines, and engineering performance.

5. Security and Scalability - Establish data protection,



access controls, cybersecurity, and backup practices. - Monitor platform performance, reliability, and infrastructure costs. - Prepare the platform for growth, increased user traffic, and multiple stadium deployments.

6. Business and Strategic Collaboration - Work closely with the Founder, marketing, operations, and business development teams. - Support technical presentations, investor discussions, product demonstrations, and partnership meetings. - Assess technology vendors, development costs, and potential strategic partnerships. - Support future business expansion and potential projects in the UAE.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.

- A master's degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage, but not mandatory.

- Strong practical software engineering and system architecture knowledge.

- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deploy production-ready software.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, databases, application security, and DevOps practices.

- Familiarity with AI/ML, data analytics, mobile applications, or real-time systems is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

- Ideally 5–8+ years of relevant software engineering or technology experience.

- Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, CTO, Technical Co-founder, or Senior Software Architect is preferred.

- Proven experience building and launching products, preferably from the ground up.

- Experience managing developers and delivering projects against business objectives.

- Startup, sports technology, SaaS, event technology, or smart stadium experience is an advantage.

Exceptional candidates with strong hands-on engineering skills and demonstrated product-building ability may also be considered.
