Skill Set

Mandatory

- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS / Ind AS) and Schedule III of the Companies Act, 2013
- Hands-on experience in finalization of accounts and preparation of

financial statements

- Proven experience in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances
- Proficiency in Tally Prime / ERP (SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, financial models,reporting)
- Experience in handling statutory, internal and tax audits
- Ability to supervise, review and guide junior accountants
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Good To Have

- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, costing and variance analysis
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, inter-company reconciliations and consolidation
- Working knowledge of ROC compliances, FEMA and transfer pricing documentation




- Prior experience in a CA firm along with industry experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities

- Overseeing the general ledger and reviewing accounting entries for accuracy and completeness
- Managing month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, provisions and adjustments
- Preparing financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow) as per

Schedule III

- Reviewing bank, vendor, customer, inter-company and GST reconciliations
- Ensuring timely statutory compliance – GST, TDS, advance tax, PF/ESI and Professional Tax
- Coordinating with statutory, internal and tax auditors and closing audit observations
- Preparing monthly MIS reports, variance analysis and management dashboards
- Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning and working capital management
- Maintaining fixed asset register, capitalization and depreciation schedules
- Strengthening internal controls, accounting policies and SOPs
- Supervising, training and reviewing the work of the accounts team
- Liaising with banks, consultants, tax authorities and other stakeholders
