Job Description

Dance4Ever is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor / Audio Editor to produce engaging, high-quality content for our dance academy, social media platforms, promotional campaigns, and special events.

The ideal candidate should have experience in video editing, audio editing, and voice-over recording and processing. They should be able to transform raw dance footage into polished videos that showcase choreography, performances, classes, and the energy of our dance community.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

- Edit dance performances, class recordings, promotional videos, event highlights, and behind-the-scenes footage.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok videos, and promotional content.
- Add transitions, effects, subtitles, captions, text overlays, and basic motion graphics.
- Sync video footage with music and maintain smooth timing, pacing, and visual quality.
- Perform basic color correction and export videos in suitable formats for different platforms.

Audio Editing & Voice-Over

- Record, edit, and process voice-overs for advertisements, announcements, and promotional videos.
- Remove background noise and improve voice clarity and sound quality.
- Mix music, voice-overs, and sound effects with balanced audio levels.
- Synchronize audio accurately with video and dance movements.
- Ensure clean, professional audio for all final deliverables.

Social Media Content

- Create visually appealing content that promotes Dance4Ever classes, dance styles, workshops, events, and academy activities.




- Identify engaging moments from longer recordings and convert them into short-form content.
- Work with the marketing team to follow brand guidelines and campaign requirements.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Practical knowledge of video editing, audio editing, and voice-over processing.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Audition, or similar software.
- Understanding of sound mixing, noise reduction, transitions, color correction, and audio-video synchronization.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and an understanding of music timing and visual storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in dance, fitness, or social media content creation is a plus.
- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous work is preferred.
- Preferred Software Knowledge

Candidates should be proficient in relevant editing software, such as:

Video Editing:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Final Cut Pro
- CapCut

Audio Editing:

- Adobe Audition
- Audacity
- DaVinci Resolve Fairlight
- Other skilled audio editing software
