Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Doctor to join our pet clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating animals, providing preventive healthcare, performing medical procedures, and guiding pet owners on proper pet care.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine animals to diagnose illnesses, injuries, and health conditions
- Prescribe medications and provide appropriate treatment plans
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, deworming, and minor surgeries
- Provide emergency and critical care when required
- Conduct health check-ups and preventive care for pets
- Educate pet owners on nutrition, hygiene, and overall animal wellness
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment history
- Assist in surgery preparation and post-operative care
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and clinic facilities
- Support community initiatives such as stray dog vaccination and animal welfare programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc & A.H) or equivalent veterinary degree
- Valid veterinary registration/license to practice
- 2–3 years of experience in veterinary practice

- Good communication skills to interact with pet owners
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced clinical environment
- Team collaboration and problem-solving ability
Work Environment
- Pet clinic and outpatient veterinary practice

- Occasional emergency or extended hours depending on clinic needs
