We're Hiring: Dental RCM Specialist / Team Lead

Work From Home | Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

We are looking for an experienced Dental Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist / Team Lead with strong end-to-end dental RCM knowledge and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience in dental RCM and be comfortable speaking directly with U.S. patients regarding billing, outstanding balances, payment plans, collections, and other account-related matters.

Who Should Apply?

Please do not apply unless you meet the following mandatory requirements:

- 5+ years of recent, hands-on experience in dental RCM. Your experience must be specifically within the dental industry, with recent involvement in dental revenue cycle operations.
- End-to-end dental RCM knowledge, including patient billing, insurance claims, payment posting, accounts receivable (AR), denial management, patient statements, collections, and payment reconciliation.
- Solid experience communicating with U.S. patients over the phone, particularly regarding outstanding balances, billing questions, payment arrangements, collections, and account resolution.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with a professional phone presence and the ability to handle sensitive patient conversations confidently.
- The ability to work independently, resolve complex billing issues, and support or lead a team when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and support end-to-end dental RCM operations, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up throughout the revenue cycle.
- Handle patient billing inquiries, outstanding balances, statements, and collection activities.
- Make outbound calls to U.S. patients to discuss balances, explain billing details, follow up on payments,

and establish payment plans in accordance with practice policies.
- Resolve patient billing disputes, statement discrepancies, credit balances, and refund-related issues.
- Review dental AR aging reports and prioritize accounts requiring follow-up.
- Coordinate with insurance billing, payment posting, and other RCM teams to resolve account discrepancies and reduce delays.
- Handle escalated patient concerns professionally and work toward timely resolution.
- Monitor collections performance, AR trends, and operational KPIs.
- Support, mentor, and guide team members to improve productivity, accuracy, and service quality.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to collection workflows, patient communication scripts, and standard operating procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of recent dental RCM experience.
- Strong understanding of the complete dental revenue cycle, from patient registration and insurance verification through claim submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, and patient collections.
- Hands-on experience with dental patient billing, patient statements, and collections.
- Proven experience speaking with U.S. patients over the phone and handling billing-related conversations professionally.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, EOBs, CDT codes, patient responsibility, and payment workflows.

- Experience using dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or Curve Dental.
- Prior experience mentoring, supervising, or leading a team is preferred, particularly for candidates applying for the Team Lead position.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and applicable debt collection requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualification — An Added Advantage

A bachelor's degree or master's degree in dentistry (BDS, MDS, or an equivalent dental qualification) will be an added advantage.

Please note: A dental degree does not replace the mandatory requirement of at least five years of recent dental RCM experience.

Work-From-Home Requirements

- A dedicated, quiet workspace suitable for professional patient calls.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a computer that meets company requirements.
- Comfortable working on camera during team meetings, training sessions, and coaching discussions.
- Ability to work the full 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST shift consistently.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow data security requirements while working remotely.

Important

We are looking for candidates with genuine, recent dental RCM experience—not candidates whose experience is limited to medical billing, insurance billing alone, or general front-office administration.

If you have strong end-to-end dental RCM knowledge, excellent English communication skills, and hands-on experience speaking with U.S. patients, we encourage you to apply.
