An Interior Estimation Engineer is responsible for calculating the cost, quantity of materials, and labour required to complete interior design and fit-out projects.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential and commercial interiors.
- Calculate quantities using BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs.
- Read and interpret interior layout drawings, elevations, and working drawings.
- Estimate materials such as plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, hardware, glass, paint, and false-ceiling components.
- Prepare quotations, cost sheets, and project budgets.
- Coordinate with interior designers, vendors, contractors, and site teams.
- Compare supplier quotations and negotiate material prices.




- Track project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Essential skills and software

- Software: AutoCAD, MS Excel, SketchUp, and ERP or estimation software.
- Technical knowledge: Modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and finishes.
- Estimation skills: BOQ preparation, rate analysis, material wastage calculations, and labor costing.
- Other skills: Vendor management, attention to detail, and cost control.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
