Job Summary

The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas while ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction and hotel service.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas as per hotel standards.
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish guest supplies and amenities.
- Ensure proper cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitization of rooms.
- Check room facilities and report maintenance issues to the concerned department.
- Handle guest belongings and hotel property with care and honesty.
- Report lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and complaints.
- Maintain housekeeping trolleys, cleaning equipment, and supplies.
- Follow hotel SOPs, hygiene standards, safety procedures, and infection-control practices.
- Coordinate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and Front Office regarding room status.




- Maintain confidentiality and ensure professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 10th, 12th pass, DHM, B.sc in H.M. preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is preferred; freshers may also apply.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and hotel hygiene standards.
- Attention to detail, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts and as part of a team.

Reporting To

Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
