We are seeking a highly resourceful and technically sound Content Acquisition & Quality Manager to drive our content library expansion for the Bhojpuri digital market. In this role, you will be the key driver in scouting, negotiating, and onboarding fresh, high-quality Bhojpuri content (Short films, Micro-dramas, Web series, and Digital shows).This is a hybrid role designed for someone with a strong creative eye and technical background. You will not only be cracking commercial deals with local filmmakers and creators across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, but you will also use your editing and post-production knowledge to evaluate the technical readiness and storytelling structure of the content before it goes live on our platform.

Key Responsibilities .

1. Content Sourcing & Regional Networking

- Actively discover and build relationships with independent filmmakers, YouTube creators, local writers, and regional production houses in the UP-Bihar belt.
- Establish a continuous pipeline of engaging, culturally relevant, and high-retention Bhojpuri digital content.
- Keep a strong pulse on hyper-local audience trends to filter out clutter and focus on high-engagement concepts.

2. Commercial Negotiation & Deal Closing

- Pitch the platform’s value proposition to creators and negotiate content distribution rights.
- Structure cost-effective licensing deals utilizing models such as Flat-fee Buyouts, Minimum Guarantees (MG), or Revenue Share.
- Coordinate with the internal legal/management team to ensure smooth execution of IP (Intellectual Property) rights and contracts.

3. Technical Screening & Quality Control





- Conduct a thorough creative and technical screening of all incoming content submissions.
- Review video pacing, narrative structure, audio mixing, and color grading to ensure a premium user experience.
- Identify technical gaps in submitted films and provide feedback to creators to get them fixed before deployment.

4. Content Repackaging & Engagement

- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to repackage long/mid-form acquired content into viral promotional materials (Trailers, Teasers, and Vertical Reels/Shorts).
- Guide creators on thumbnail strategy and optimal pacing for digital and mobile audiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Industry Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in OTT content operations, line production, assistant direction, or post-production management (Prior experience in regional media platforms or regional music labels is highly preferred).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of post-production workflows, video editing principles, audio-visual quality standards (QC protocols), and digital file formats.
- Business Acumen: Ability to confidently pitch to external partners and successfully negotiate terms within strict budgetary boundaries.
- Regional Network: An existing, active directory of contacts within the Bhojpuri digital media industry (directors, actors, technicians, or independent creators in Patna, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, etc.).
- Language Skills: Native or highly qualified fluency in English and Hindi (both verbal and written) is mandatory.

Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
